BE PREPARED

Welcome to Chichester International’s Online Preparation Guide

International Orientation

We are excited to be welcoming all our international students at our International Orientation event on 21st September 2025!

We recommend that you arrive in the UK during the accommodation arrivals weekend, so that you can be welcomed by our arrivals crew and you can join our orientation event.

Attending the orientation event is a fantastic way to start your life in the UK, get used to university, and make friends from all over the world. In the past, those who join have fewer problems and an easier time settling into their studies. We highly recommend you sign up for this event and join us for this formal welcome event.

Travel from Bognor Regis Campus

The U7/U8 bus service does not usually operate during the weekend. You should check with the staff in the accommodation office or at the University main reception (Support and Information Zone) if the bus service is operating during the welcome weekend.

Alternatively, you can travel between Chichester and Bognor Regis on the 700 bus for a discounted student price by showing your student card. You will get your student card from the accommodation office when you arrive or during the induction/welcome week, if you do not live in university halls of residence.

The 700 bus stop is opposite the Bognor Regis Campus university bus stop.

Cost:  Single ticket £2.00 and return ticket £2.75 (student card needed). Or £3 without a student card.

More information is available via the University’s Moodle page (under campus facilities).

Not sure how to catch a bus? Ask at the Support and Information Zone (SIZ) in the main reception (Learning Resource Centre (LRC))
