We are excited to be welcoming all our international students at our International Orientation event on 22nd of September 2024!
Attending the orientation event is a fantastic way to start your life in the UK, get used to university, and make friends from all over the world. In the past, those who join have fewer problems and an easier time settling into their studies. We highly recommend you sign up for this event and join us for a formal welcome on 22 September 2024.

INTERNATIONAL ORIENTATION DETAILS
DATE: Sunday, 22nd September
TIME: 10:00-16:30
LOCATION: Cloisters Chamber, Ground floor, University House, Bishop Otter Campus (Chichester)
10:00 | Arrival, Registration and Refreshments (Please arrive on time) |
10:30 | Welcome and Introductions |
11:00 | TALK: Academic Study at the University of Chichester: An Introduction by Sue Lavender. |
12:00 | Break – you can buy drinks/snacks from the university restaurant/café |
13:00 | TALK: Practical Advice and Information by International Student Adviser Päivi Leivo. We will cover lots of practical topics, including BRP collection, GP registration and opening a UK bank account. |
14:00 | Interactive Activity and Quiz |
15:00 | Navigating Life as an International Student in the UK: Realities and Q&A with the SU International Officer, International Buddies and International team staff. |
16:00 | Group Photo and Socialising over Cream Tea. |
16:30 | Conclusion of Orientation event
Campus Tour with International Buddies
After the International Orientation event you can join the Students Union party at Zee Bar. |
